Data Deletion

Last updated July 2026

You can delete your Postlefy account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it yourself in seconds, what gets removed, and how to reach us if you can't sign in. For the full picture of what we store and why, see our Privacy Policy.

Delete your account (fastest)

If you can sign in, you can delete everything yourself — no request or waiting required:

  • Sign in to Postlefy and open the You tab (your account).
  • Scroll to the Danger zone and tap Delete account.
  • Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently delete.

This is immediate and permanent— it can't be undone, and any remaining credits are non-refundable.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account and profile (name, email, preferences).
  • Your brand profile (details, tone, topics, colors, and assets).
  • Your posts, drafts, scheduled posts, and any uploaded or generated media.
  • Your schedules and autopilot settings.
  • Your connected social accounts and their access tokens, including any connected through Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), so we can no longer post on your behalf.
  • Your credit balance and usage records.

A limited amount of billing and transaction data may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or tax purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy. This data is not used to identify or contact you for any other purpose.

Removing data connected from a platform

When you connect a social account, we store only a reference to it and a secure access token so we can publish the posts you schedule — we never store your social passwords. You have two ways to remove this:

  • Disconnect one account — open Connect in the app and remove the account. This revokes its access token immediately and stops us posting to it, while keeping the rest of your Postlefy account.
  • Delete your whole account — this revokes and removes the tokens for every connected platform at once (see above).

You can also revoke Postlefy's access directly from the platform. For Meta (Facebook / Instagram), go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, select Postlefy, and remove it. Doing so also revokes the token we hold for that account.

Can't sign in? Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to your account, you can ask us to delete your data on your behalf. Send us a request through our contact form using the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account and data. We'll verify the request and complete the deletion, and confirm by email, within 30 days.
